You are the best – a cut above the rest… – M. Chidambaram

Motivation is making people do what they would not normally do by telling them in such a way that they would love to do it.

Though this is external motivation.. the desire.. the will to excel has to come from within.. How does it happen? when does this happen? Why should it happen?

Ask yourself the following questions...
  1. Do you want to stand in others queue or do you want others to stand in your queue?
Standing in others queue is trying to sell yourself where as when others are standing in your queue they are trying to buy you…
  2. Do you want to chant others slogans or do you want others to chant your slogans?.When you merely chant others slogans you are a doer or a follower but when you make others chant your slogan you become a leader.
  3. Do you merely want to admire the world or do you want the world also to admire you ?
  4. Do you simply want to take selfies with celebrities or do you want celebrities to take selfies with you?
  5. Do you merely want to be a spectator or do you want to make others your spectator?

If you want the secondf part of each of the five questons to be your answer then you must be a performer.

Yes irespective of your state of mind..You have got to Perform.. Deliver.. Show Results.. There could be Tsunami in you but only a breeze should come out. But for many only Tsunami is coming out.. Only God knows what is inside them.. May be a double tsunami..

In a nutshell all professionals have to perform…

These performances aren’t ordinary performances extraordinary performances..performances to your full potential – peak performance – star performance- benchmark performance- stalwarts performance….

Sachin Tendulkar’s hundred hundreds….
Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s hundred fifties….
Virat Kohlis fifty hundreds…..

Hundred should not be your maximum..
It should be the minimum.

Sky should not be the limit.. SKY SHOULD BE YOUR NEXT DESTINATION.,,

ILAYARAJA’S THOUSAND MOVIE SONGS…

KANNADASAN’S 5000 movie songs..

Seven National award winning songs of Vairamuthu

Eight national winning award songs of K.J. YESUDOSS …

All the above are not mere winning performances but outstanding performances…

As Martin Luther King said. ‘If I were a street sweeper I would sweep it like Michalangelo paints.. I would sweep it like Beethoven composes music or LIKE shakepeare writes poetry…

This is what is called Pride of performance.

I see myself ….
not in my photograph..
Not even in my mirror..
But in the work that I do.

If my photograph is not good its not my fault its the photgraphers mistake or the creator’s mistake..But if my work is not good that it is squarely my mistake.hence they say your work is an extension of yourself.

A batsman should never talk, his willow should do all the talking, a painter should never talk his brush should do all the talking, a musician should never talk his instruments should..do all the talking.

If Sachin does not perform well is it a loss only for him? only to his team? to his country? No to the entire cricket loving fraternity for centuries…

If A.R.Rehman does not perform well is it a loss only to him? only for the producer? No to the entire music loving fraternity…

If a Scientist does not perform well is it a loss only to him? No to the whole world for genarations together?

If you are not performing well is it a loss only to you.. No the impact could be on hundreds and thousands far and wide…

If you are not performing to your full potential then you are insulting yourself.

So always give your best… nothing but the best… probably beyond the best… FOR You are the best – a cut above the rest..
